• Applications are now being accepted for volunteer VFD positions.   Submit your application to Police Chief Drew Paschal.   All applicants will have a background check done before being approved for duty. 

• The Police Department will conduct monthly tests of the Weather Alert Siren. This test will occur on the first Monday of every month. Chief Paschall would like to inform residents this test will be very short, only to test the functionality of the siren. Should the siren sound for a period beyond one minute, residents should assume there is a weather related threat and take shelter. Prior to all siren tests the City Hall staff is informed. If you want to verify the reason for the siren, you can call the City Hall at 575-4745.
